Mask represents Robert Davidson's uncle Alfred Davidson. It was worn in his memorial potlatch by Joe David on November 22-23, 1986.

Physical description

Naturalistic humanoid face with seven brown and white feathers glued into small holes along top rim, there are two empty holes; curvilinear design in blue, black and red over much of facial surface; open red mouth, seventeen white shell teeth and red tongue; four small holes on each side rim at eye level, string has been looped through holes and tied. On reverse, white leather strip tied to string at eye level; at mouth level wide leather strip.
