Peters, Julia (1871 - 1954)

Julia Peters was the daughter of a Cheam woman named Annie, and Jacob Krauss, a German geologist. She married Harry Peters around the age of 15 (he was 19). Her skill at basket making has continued in her family through daughters, granddaughter and great-granddaughters. Designs which mark this family's work are the rose and butterfly.
