Brown, Andrew, Captain (c. 1879 - 1962)

'Captain' Andrew Brown was born c. 1879 and died in 1962. He was from the Eagle clan, Gitins division, Yan. He was known for his boat building ability and was a prolific carver. He carved to within two years of his death. Along the Northwest Coast he was also known as a storyteller and humorist.
