Biography

Thith-Hak-Key (Johnny Stelkia) of the Osoyoos Band, attended the Inkameep Day School on the Nk'Mip Reserve (near Oliver BC) sometime between 1932 and 1942, with Anthony Walsh as his teacher. Under Walsh, the students there were encouraged to create paintings and drawings that honoured their traditional Okanagan language and culture.
