Elrod, Norma

Norma Lee Cummins married J. (Jefferson) McRee Elrod in 1953. The couple lived in Seoul from 1955-1960. Norma taught at the Foreign School, and they both taught at Yonsei University. The Elrods studied Korean at Yale University before going to Korea. The family moved to Vancouver, British Columbia in 1967. In 2003 Norma wrote a book about their time in Korea, titled "Korean years, 1955-1960".
