Herrmann, Daniel (1736 - 1798)

Herrmann was a huntsman from Langnau in the Emmental, and the second manager of the Frisching faience factory. During this time he wrote many colour and glaze recipes. In 1774 Herrmann acquired the Landstrasse 1 property in Langnau, where he and his descendants produced Langnau ceramics for four generations.
