Oui-Pitt, Racy (1953 - )

Born on Thursday Island, grew up on Darnley (Erub) Island. Her mother is from Darnley Island, of Pacific Island and Torres Strait heritage; her father is from Badu Island, of Torres Strait and Malaysian heritage. She started making art in 2002 when she enrolled in a screen printing course. When the CDEP Art Gang formed she joined in 2005 doing lino printing, screen printing, pottery and jewellery.
