Wall Calendar
Physical description
A long, vertically rectangular calendar that has a bottom part consisting of four tear away stapled (three staples) pages with each page containing three months side-by-side. Calendar is in the year 1992 in English in black with Sundays in orange. The main part of the calendar has the image of a standing figure sculpture(?) in blue-black skin wearing a ceremonial sari of red, green, and gold. Has several-tiered necklace in colourful jewels and a fish-shaped epaulet in gold and diamond(?) on each shoulder, rose-shaped diamond and gold arm bands, and a gold and jewel-studded crown topped by a five-headed cobra. Surrounding the figure, there is an elaborate arch that has two columns on either side, the bases of which show a cow and a calf facing toward the centre. Between each pair of columns, there is an oil lamp hanging from a brass coloured chain. Foreground has baskets of fruit and incense burners. In the lower right corner, there is a small, vertically rectangular, yellow image that has a green grass in front of a red sun within and red captions that read 'JAI KISAAN'. There is a metal support folded over the top edge and a flat braided blue-grey fibre loop attached at the top back centre.
