Tassel

Collected by the donor during trips to Tibet in 1988 and 1990.

Red silk hair tassel. Long twisted strands are gathered together in a ball at top, with a thin, braided tie protruding from its centre. Most strand have been sealed against fraying by a small lump of black substance at bottom.
