Physical description
Byzantine coin of Constans II, 641-668. Obverse: bust of Constans II, facing forwards, with short beard; he wears a crown with trefoil ornament; to right, he holds a globus cruciger; to left, inscription says ÔÇÿNSÔÇÖ; to right, ÔÇÿTANVÔǪPÔÇÖ. Reverse: large cross; to left, ÔÇÿCXÔÇÖ in a vertical position; to right, ÔÇÿTXÔÇÖ in a vertical position; above, star between two pellets. This coin has been overstruck.
