Byzantine coin of Justinian I, 527-565. Obverse: bust of Justinian I, facing forward; to left, he holds a globus cruciger; to right, there is a cross; to left, inscription is illegible; to right, it says 'VSP'. Reverse: large ÔÇÿKÔÇÖ; to left, ÔÇÿANNOÔÇÖ in a vertical position; to right, ÔÇÿXI'; above, a cross; beneath, ÔÇÿSOÔÇÖ; in exergue, ÔÇÿ[CA]RÔÇÖ.
