History of use
Hopi ware is thick, porous and has a dull wooden sound it is well formed, smooth and polished. The villages on First Mesa make all decorated ware, others make utility wares.
Physical description
Jug has two small handles to sides of neck and rests on side. Sikyatki style design on a cream slip; inscription on base. Reductive firing.
