Bowl

This is step 5 in the process of making a pot. It has been polished (it has the slip on it) with the design painted on, but has not been fired.

Unfired bowl of grey clay that will turn orange if fired in an open (oxidized) fire. The design is grey-brown and yellow, but will be black and red when fired. Symbolic of mountains/clouds/rain/irrigation.
