This collection was said to have been acquired by James George during his service in Greece (Athens) from 1945-48.

Physical description

Black glazed, clay bowl with a shallow bowl, a single handle, bottom reserved. Handle is oval shaped and is mounted at level to the rim, extending horizontally. Base small and flared to edge.
