Sawyer, Erika H. (1922 - 2012)

Erika Heininger Sawyer was born in Burlington, Vermont, the daughter of Erna and Alfred Heininger. She graduated from Burlington High School and the University of Vermont. Her husband of 55 years was Alan R. Sawyer, whose work as a curator, museum director and professor took them to Boston, Denton Texas, Chicago, and Washington DC before moving to Vancouver in 1974, where they spent the rest of their lives.
